The HydraFacial® Procedure
The HydraFacial® uses 3 different skin-enhancing serums to cleanse & peel, exfoliate & hydrate, then fuse & protect the skin. You will feel some light suction but very little discomfort and there is no downtime. Makeup can be applied immediately afterwards and you can return to normal activities straight away. A treatment takes 30-45 minutes.

- Open wounds, active ezcema, dermatitis or rosacea
- Active Herpes Simplex (Cold Sores)
- Sunburn in the treatment area
- Recent waxing, IPL, laser therapy or dermal filler (within last fortnight)

FAQ’s about The HydraFacial®
How many treatments will I need?
Although you will be able to see and feel a difference following your very first HydraFacial® treatment, for problematic skin we generally recommend a course of treatments every 2-4 weeks until you have achieved your desired results, and then a maintenance HydraFacial® treatment every 4-6 weeks.
If your aim is long-term skin health and projuvenation, we recommend a monthly HydraFacial® treatment to hydrate, nourish and support dermal function.
Can I have a Hydrafacial® at the same time as another type of treatment?
Yes you can! Many patients opt to add-on a Healite II LED light treatment after their Hydrafacial® – a treatment package we have named HydraHeal, and you can book this directly online.
We often use the Hydrafacial® technology as a synergistic treatment with some of our other dermal therapies and medical skin treatments. For example, preparing the skin with a short course of Hydrafacials® prior to procedures such as laser resurfacing will improve the health and hydration of the skin, enabling it to respond better to the laser treatment.
We can also perform a Hydrafacial® on the same day as other treatments, such as dermal needling, or Kleresca® biophotonic therapy. However, other than small top-up treatments, it is not advisable to have a Hydrafacial® immediately before or after anti-wrinkle injections.
